Garmin Bounce

The Garmin Bounce is a kids' smartwatch that offers two-way communication, real-time GPS location tracking, and comprehensive activity and health monitoring, all managed through the parent's Garmin Jr. smartphone app. 

Communication & Safety (requires a separate Garmin LTE subscription plan)

• Two-Way Messaging: Allows sending and receiving of text and voice messages between the watch and the parent's compatible Garmin Jr. app.

• Real-Time Location Tracking: Features built-in GPS and Galileo to let parents monitor their child's location live via the companion app.

• Geofencing: Parents can set up pre-defined boundaries (like home or school) and receive alerts when the child enters or leaves those areas.

• Assistance Feature: The child can use this feature to quickly send an alert with their live location to pre-approved emergency contacts.

• Parent-Managed Contacts: Only contacts approved and managed by the parent in the Garmin Jr. app can communicate with the watch. 

Activity & Health Monitoring

• Activity Tracking: Tracks daily steps, distance, active minutes, and estimated calories burned.

• Sleep Monitoring: Automatically monitors sleep patterns and duration.

• Preloaded Sports Apps: Includes profiles for activities like running, walking, biking, and pool swimming using built-in GPS.

• Heart Rate Monitoring: The watch includes a basic heart rate monitor. 

Parental Controls & Engagement

• Garmin Jr. App: All settings and data are managed through the parent's app on a compatible smartphone (Android or iOS).

• Chores & Rewards: Parents can assign tasks and reward children with virtual coins in the app.

• School Mode: A "do-not-disturb" mode can be scheduled to limit distractions during specific times.

• Games & Adventures: Activity goals unlock educational adventures, quizzes, and games (puzzle slider, math flash, step challenges) within the app to encourage movement.
